Fit Parents Equals Fit Kids!

Parents have a huge obligation to provide a healthy environment for their kids. It is not simply a lifestyle choice but a choice that will enhance their lives in more ways than one. They are better equipped to learn, more energy for sports and even better behaviors. Here are some top healthy tips for your kids and for you.

- Have your kids cook with you. Teach them good cooking etiquette and good cooking habits like baking instead of frying.

- Teach them good hygiene.

- Take them to local markets or when I was a kid I remember we used to go apple picking.

- Let them make their own lunches and help them find new healthier alternatives.

- School sports are great but sports for fun are even better when they get to spend it with you. Bike rides, or paddle boats!

- Have open communication as their body grows it goes through changes. As you get older your body changes. Helping them understand themselves and letting them have open conversations with you will help you have a better understanding about your health and theirs.
