Fish for the Body!

Fish in moderation is great for the body. The omega-3 fatty acids in fish have been linked to lowering your blood pressure, heart rate, risk of heart disease and more! But there are some fish to avoid and some you should eat. Those that you shouldn't are high in mercury and contaminants that are dangerous to your health. Here is a great list for you!

- Go with wild caught fish! This is a limited list but will give you the basics.

Fish To Eat:

Salmon

Halibut

Tuna

Cod

Sardines

Anchovies

Fish To Avoid:

Swordfish

Shark

Tile fish

King mackerel

White (albacore) tuna

Warm water fish

Shellfish like clams, lobsters, oysters, shrimp and scallops
