Friends in Fitness

The greatest motivation one can have is a friend that's getting fit with you. If you have similar interests and goals this can get you motivated together. Its a great support system. It is truly mind over matter. But having this perfect relationship with a friend keeps you focused and your eye on the prize. Here are some great ways to motivate each other.

1- Meet 1 to 2x per week for a workout together.
2-Its the day and age of technology so if you are losing focus email, call or text each other.
3- Share recipes.
4- Cook for each other. I know a friend who lives in a neighborhood where once a month her and her neighbor share a meal they make a little extra and bring it over to their neighbor and her family. Its a great way to do something positive and taste something new and healthy.
5- Document your journey. Take pictures, take in the process as friends and one day you will have a lifetime of memories to look back and see how far you have come.
