Safety First!

Imagine if you were working out and GOD forbid you got hurt. That would put you out and affect your fitness goals. So the fact is you always need to practice fitness safety first. Here are the tips for safety and techniques.

- Always listen to your trainer and your body.

- Working out is worth it if you are going to put the time to do it correctly.

- Always consult your physician first as well as your trainer if you have any previous injuries or conditions.

- Correct posture goes back to health in elementary school. Bad posture makes your body work harder. Use your core muscles to maintain the correct posture.

- Warm up and cool down.

- Focus on the muscles you are using when working out. Some people tend to rush things. You are supposed to feel the burn don't rush it.

- If it's a new exercise start slow and speed up as you continue through it but don't rush.

- Eat 2 hours before your workout.

- Water is best keep hydrated during workouts. KEYWORD hydrated not over drinking to the point where you are full and can become nauseous.

- Use the right intensity.

- Wear comfortable clothes and avoid jewelry.
